We back up every Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting and Reseller Hosting account automatically, every day. You do not need to set anything up.
What is included
- all your website files;
- all your databases;
- all your email accounts and their messages;
- your settings: domains, subdomains, DNS records, SSL certificates, cron jobs and FTP accounts.
How long backups are kept
The number of daily restore points depends on your plan, from 7 days on our entry plans up to 30 days on our largest. Your plan's figure is shown on our hosting pages.
Getting something back
- A single file, folder, database or mailbox: Restoring a file, database or mailbox.
- A whole website or account: Restoring your whole account.
- Not sure which backup you need? Open a support ticket and we will restore it for you.
VPS and dedicated servers
VPS and dedicated servers are not backed up automatically, because you manage everything on them. Order the backup add-on, or set up your own backups.
Keep your own copy too
Our backups protect you from accidents and failures. For anything you could not live without, also keep a copy somewhere else, such as your computer or cloud storage. See Creating your own backup.
