Changing a mailbox password

1. Sign in to HostPanel and go to Email → Email Accounts.
2. Use the password action on the account and enter the new password.
3. Update the password in every mail app and phone that uses this mailbox.

You can also change mailbox passwords on the Email tab of your hosting in the client area.

Giving a mailbox more space

1. In Email → Email Accounts, use the edit action on the account.
2. Change the quota and save.

All mailboxes share your plan's total disk space, so giving one mailbox more space leaves less for your website and other mailboxes.

When a mailbox is full

Each mailbox shows a usage bar: green, amber above 70% and red above 90%. When a mailbox goes over its quota, it cannot be signed in to until it is back under the limit. To fix it:

1. Raise the quota as described above, so the owner can sign in again.
2. Delete old messages, especially large attachments, and empty the Trash folder.
3. If you want to keep old mail, move it to a folder on your computer in your mail app.

The mailbox returns to normal automatically once there is free space again.

Deleting a mailbox

Use the delete action and confirm. Deleting is final: the mailbox and all its messages are removed and cannot be recovered except from a backup.
