Signing in to WordPress and resetting the admin password

1 min read • Updated 2 weeks ago • WordPress

Open your WordPress dashboard in one click, and set a new admin password if you are locked out.

Signing in with one click

  1. Sign in to HostPanel and go to WP Toolkit → WordPress Sites.
  2. Select your site.
  3. Click WP Admin. Your WordPress dashboard opens in a new tab, already signed in.

The sign-in link is single-use and expires after two minutes, so it is safe to use.

Signing in the usual way

Go to https://example.com/wp-admin and enter your WordPress user name and password.

Locked out? Set a new password

  1. In WP Toolkit → WordPress Sites, select the site.
  2. Click Password.
  3. Enter a new password, or generate a strong one, and save.

You can now sign in at /wp-admin with the new password.

Too many failed attempts?

If a security plugin has locked you out after failed attempts, use WP Admin in the toolkit to get in, then clear the lockout in the plugin's settings.
