Move to a bigger or smaller plan without losing your website, email or settings.
You can change plan at any time. Your files, email, databases and settings stay exactly as they are.
- Open the service, for example under Websites, and click Upgrade.
- Under Select a new plan, choose the plan you want.
- Check the price and click Continue to Payment.
What you pay
You only pay the prorated difference between the two plans until your next due date. The exact amount is shown before you pay. From your next renewal, you pay the new plan’s normal price.
Before you downgrade
Check that your account fits the smaller plan: disk space, websites, email accounts and databases. If you are using more than the new plan allows, remove what you no longer need first. See Understanding your plan limits and resource usage.
Not sure which plan you need? Open a ticket and tell us about your website. We will recommend a plan honestly, even if it is a smaller one.
