Change nameservers, lock or unlock a domain, get its EPP code, turn on WHOIS privacy and manage DNS records.
Open Domains and click Manage next to the domain. The page shows its status, registrar, expiry date, renewal price and whether Auto Renewal is on.
Changing nameservers
- Under Nameservers, click Change Nameservers.
- Enter the new nameservers, one per field.
- Click Update Nameservers.
The change can take up to 48 hours to reach everyone. To host the domain with Twerple, use the nameservers in your hosting welcome email or on the HostPanel dashboard under Quick Stats.
Locking and unlocking
A locked domain cannot be transferred away, which protects it from unauthorised transfers. Keep it locked unless you are moving it. Click Unlock Domain only when you are ready to transfer it, and Lock Domain to protect it again.
Getting the EPP code
Click Get EPP Code to see the code another registrar needs to take the domain. Treat it like a password and only give it to the registrar you are moving to.
WHOIS privacy
Turn on WHOIS Privacy to hide your name, address, email and phone number from public domain lookups, where the extension supports it.
DNS records
Click Domain Records to see the records for the domain.
- If your domain uses Twerple hosting nameservers, manage its records in HostPanel. See Managing DNS records in HostPanel.
- If you only need the domain without hosting, click Use Registrar DNS to manage the records here in the client area.
- If the domain uses another DNS provider, such as Cloudflare, change the records there.
